Stephan goes to the palace to meet Alex after he just gave him internship. They get a song sung by a blind man dedicated to Steve.

In Alka's house, she is preparing to have play time with her "girl friends". Her father, the kings naval right hand man, has left to go prepare for war. Alka is prepare a war scenario herself. She has set up dolls to play nurses. When her friends come over they get on the subject of Steve. Some girls dont seem to respect him too much on the contrary to Alka, who actually thinks that he will forget her. Speak of the devil, Steve shows up to say good bye because hes has to follow Alex into war. There is some bitterness from Alka. Its a classic your never going to see me again so im going to pout about it. Stephan reassures her differently and says his goodbyes.

Alex is trying to get to sleep but keeps thinking about the war. He is setting off tommorow and is very confident but nervous. His nurse comes in and tells him that his mother wants to give him her blessing. Alex goes to his mother and tells the gods to protect him.

I think the book will get interesting now. Steve may have a bigger role than I thought. Given that he has armour now, and a sword, he could be a contender to save his life again. Mark my words

Bloog 7 i think, ill make those other ones later

So, Alex is at this big festival thing and has been alerted there is a plan for his assassination. In comes Demosthenes, one of the empires greatest enemies. He has called their people barbarians. Alex, however, greets him with respect and as they are talking a man runs up to Alex and yells "O Injustice, Alexander." Alex regocnizes it as the signal for the assassination but the man does not fit the description so Alex believes the man. But sure enough it was the right man and right before the assassin takes out his dagger, Stephan from the crowd alerts Alex. He dodges the dagger and the guy runs to the get away horse, but not before a big man crushes his skull. I liked that part. Steve is now regocnized as a hero and there is a buzz around him. In the morning steve gets a package from alex. Inside is armor, a suit, and a letter requesting stephan to become his appache! He will follow him around where ever he goes now. Pretty predictable because they somehow have to be closely linked.

I predict that Steve will follow Alex around when he does his great thigns and he will serve no purpose because i dont believe that Stephan is a Roman name.

Well, i was wrong about the book. It doesnt have periods of focusing on different characters, it just floats along randomly.

This section starts with Stephan waking up. It is the day of the festival, so he hurries down stairs and asks if he can go with Alka. After getting permission, he gets advice: "Take care that the girls dont beat you again!" At the same time Alka gets up to see her father, the great captain, run off to his king on request. The 2 become thirsty and run off to a tree that they think has water. On the way there, they hear voices. Stephan becomes alarmed immidiatly and orders Alka to be quiet. They crawl closer. The voices they here are the 2 persians and another man. The persians are discussing an assassination attempt on Alex. They pick 3 days from then, when his father will be gone and he will be in a public place. The plan for the man is to yell "Alexander, Justice!" and stab him. Alka gasps almost loud enough to get caught. Both astonished, they crawled out and in typical spy fashion they make a tiny noise so that they 3 men "think" they hear something. Stephan goes immidiatly to Alex and tells him and they come up with a plan that isnt said yet. And so comes the day when Alex is in the public festival and nothing happens yet.

I think that Alex has some elaborate plan because he could just nip it in the bud by telling guards or something. I dont think stephan will be part of the plan cuz hes just sitting there watching and worrying. Also, if i trust my vast knowlege of all history, i can safely say that Alexander the Great does not get stabbed to death.

Bloog 3

Now the book focuses on Alex as the main character. After he accomplishes this great feat, he goes to the baths and washes up. It begins to tell Alex's life up to that point, starting from when he was a baby. When he was born, his dad (the king) wrote to Aristotle and asked to train him. Aristotle replied saying he needs to be a little older, and has to be strong. So the king sent him to a trainer and he trained him for 13 years. Now he was ready for Aristotle. Aristotle, one day, starts talking about how greece is in shambles now and how it needs a good leader. He leads it to a question towards Alex;"And who is that leader?" Alex knows right away, himself.

There have been 2 persians hanging around the story. They are from persia, sent by the persian king. The 2 persians talk about how they want to assassinate the king or his son because they are threatened by Greece because it has been making an army. They go to the king to offer a peace treaty, but the king stalls because i think they want to attack them.

I forsee, with my little eye, that Alexander grows up and uses that army his father built and attacks the persians. I also can tell what kind of book this will be, i think it will switch between Stephan and Alex and main characters. Stephan will for sure become of importance to alex and his empire.
